My iPhone 4 will not pick up any signal?

My iPhone 4 does not seem to be picking up any signal. It is out of it's warranty so I can't get a replacement and it is currently on Vodafone. I'm not sure if it was the update, or the actual antenna, but I'm to scared to take the back of the phone to fix it, in case I actually break it.

Shut it off and wait a minute then power it back on, see if that helps. Also check your carrier to see if they are having trouble.

Switch it into Aircraft Mode then off again, this forces it to look for a signal.

Could be the antenna. It may have come loose. I wouldnt open it up if you don't know what your doing. If you are in the uk and its out of warrenty send it to apple tree. They did all the work on mine and it was the cheapest out of anywhere

  • Will the Comfort Suites Downtown Windsor Ontario pick up ATT wireless signal? I'm going to be traveling to Windsor Ontario soon. I have ATT and an IPhone 4. I will be staying at the Comfort Suites near the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel. I was inquiring if anybody had stayed there and could still pick up the ATT wireless signal, and not get charged for roaming.

I have tried everything to fix it from restoring to resetting network settings, I have tried the SIM in another phone and the SIM works fully, however the other phone wasn't an iPhone… The signal bar looks as follows '_ _ _ _ _ VodafoneUK 3G' may I add that I'm on a TalkMobile tariff, I have had the iPhone for months now, and all of a sudden it has just done this, and it does it everywere!
