My iphone 4s is not charging right?
So i have been usin my friend ipod charger for my phone till my charger comes and all of a sudden my phone battery has been acting strange. The battery sign comes up saying its charged but its only at 50% and plus when i'm using my phone it stays at that number and dosent charge but when i give my phone a rest it charges.
If your iPhone is on ios7 apple made it so that the iPhone can only use apple chargers and it will pop up and say unsupported charger. And a good explanation why it chargers while it is resting is because the phone will continue to charge until you press okay on the unsupported charger tab. Or maybe the charger is just too old
You should not use your friend's iPod charger to charge your iPhone. You must use the right cable to charge your phone, this is a must-to-know thing for the longlife of your iPhone.
You should restart the iPhone and try again to see if that still happens. Also should leave it once to charge over night to be 100%. Can also install a program to manage batery, and if still have problems do a factory reset or update
There's a reason all apple products come with their own chargers and USB cables.
cause they work best together.
i never use a samsung cable with my ipad.
you have to buy an iphone charger/cable. They're not expensive…
