My iphone 4s wouldn't switch on?
My iphone 4s was in the cupboard for about 2 weeks unused, and then when i tried switch it on, it's not working. When i plug it into the power adapter, only the backlight comes and stays for some seconds and goes off. It happens again and again, time to time. I checked if the LCI's are activated, but no. I also tried to reset it by holding the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button together, still no luck. What is happened and what can i do
Try turning it off agian and then on and then you should wait a bit to let the temputure be normal becuae if an iphone gets to hot or cold it will turn off then after you wait try turning it off and on again and see if it works if not then you can try going to the apple store so you don't cause any more damage to your phone but wait a day or two before you go
Sounds to me like your charger is broken, the USB adapted bit. Apart from this, incase your phone has somehow got damp in the cupboard by general water vapour from it being in a hot place, simply just place it in a bag of rice for 2 hours, with the back case removed. Iphones are easy to fix.
- Wouldn't turning off iPhone while charging shorten battery life? They say the iPhone has a battery life of 400 full charge cycles before it starts its decline. Ok here is the thing… A lot of talk on how to save battery life on the iPhone by charging habits such as turning the phone off while charging, airplane mode while charging, turn off Wi-Fi bluetooth etc… But if the phone charges faster… Wouldn't that increase the amount of full charge/discharge cycles and there for decreasing the life of the battery?
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- Why wouldn't my laptop connect to the Wi-Fi? I was on my iPhone this morning and the Wi-Fi was working normally, but when I powered up my MacBook Pro, it said it was unable to connect to the Internet and wouldn't load any pages, yet the Wi-Fi on my phone was working fine. I checked everything, it was all normal, so I just restarted my computer and the Wi-Fi was working. Why did it do this? It's never done this before. This laptop is also brand new and shouldn't have a problem connecting to the Internet
- Switch iPhone 4s to iPhone 5? I just got an iPhone 4s on Sept 8 from Best Buy but now that the iPhone 5 was announced and I've seen it, I've decided I wanted it. What's the exchange/refund policy for Best Buy? And will Best Buy be selling the iPhone 5 for pre-order? If anyone knows. My service is Verizon if that matters
