My iphone 5 doesn't let me block my caller id?
I just got an iPhone 5 a few days ago, and i had heard from other iPhone users that you could go into your settings and somehow turn off your caller id so when you call people they won't know it's you. I went in my settings to do it and went under the "phone" setting and it wasn't there, like people had said it would be. I've read that some people have theirs show up but it doesn't let them toggle on/off. Mine doesn't show up at all. Did they take this feature out of iPhone 5's or is it just my phone?

The only way to block a caller id is to jailbreak your Iphone. I've tried doing it without, but it doesn't work. Just in case you do jailbreak your phone you should know that after you do the warranty will not be able to be used anymore.
- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
- What's the difference between an 'unkown' caller and 'no caller ID'? This unknown number keeps ringing me, and i thought if someone blocked their numbers (on iphones) it comes up as no caller ID so i'm not sure if it is still a blocked number or a number that can't come trhough. But when i answer nobody speaks and they've rang one of my friends so its not a scam phone call also they don't speak at all so if it was a company of some sort they must of spoken so its probably a prank call but i wanna know the difference to make sure.
- Is there a Iphone app that lets you block your caller ID? I have the iPhone through straight talk and i wanted to download an app to block my caller ID when i call people. Since i'm with straight talk, using my carriers block service isn't available since straight talk doesn't offer that. Any suggestions?
- Is there a caller block app for iPhone? So this guy keeps calling me and texting me and I wanna block him but when I looked online it says my phone has to be jail broken to do it but is there any other way because I'm just getting annoyed because I told the guy I'm not interested and he want leave me alone.
