My iPhone 5 has a strange hissing noise?
Its very quiet and you can't hear it unless you put the speaker on your ear. It only happens when i record a video or make a voice memo and on certain apps. Is this a hardware problem or software? Its very quiet btw.
Odds are its software. With new updates in iOS it will probably be fixed. But you could go to an apple store and have it replaced for free
It is white noise to equalize the microphone. This is normal.

- Strange problem with iPhone? My dad's iPhone completely discharged yesterday. After he plugged it in it booted but instead of the normal lock screen it appeared a lock-screen with ios6 which said the iphone must be connected to iTunes. I tried to restore it, but itunes threw error-1.A little help?
