My iphone 5 has lots of dead pixels, what to do?
I have always looked after my iphone 5 So am sure no damage has come to it, however these pesky dead pixels keep appearing and won't go away, now there must be hundreds of them, they are barely noticeable and tiny but annoying when on a white or black screen.
Heres the thing, I have not got a receipt or any proof of when I purchased it and I don't really take any insurance etc. What can i expect if I take it to apple shop? Is there any way I can fix it?
Any help appreciated.
What i suggest you do is go to this website first http://uk.protectyourbubble.com/gadget-insurance
then after 1 month or even 3 weeks claim there's a problem and they will sort you out. X
They might just might help you but only if you take it back to the original store, and in Good condition with the original box. But legally they can refuse you service without the receipt. The dead pixels can't be repaired the screen has to be replaced.
The insurance thing above is a good idea, but because the damage has happened before you are taking the policy, technically your committing insurance fraud, they may check.

- We know that if a smartphone has more than 300 pixels per inch, it is a retina display. How much ppi it need to be a super retina display? It is said that human retina can distinguish pixels and letters in screen seem broken if ppi is below 300. If ppi is above 300, how high the ppi may be, it looks same for human eye, then why iPhone has 458 pixels in iPhone x?
