My iphone 5 is taking grainy photos?

I have had my iphone 5 for a little over a year. I have been noticing recently that my front facing camera when I take pictures they come out grainy. I have cleaned my screen, restart my phone, shut down the app and I have even tried taking photos near a window or outside for natural lighting and it still comes out grainy? Is there anything I can do to fix this! It worked fine before! Xx

Try switching to HDR mode. If that does not help, then nothing probably will, short of taking the phone apart to clean or fix it.

  • Why is my iPhone 4 still taking HDR photos when I turned HDR option OFF? I selected "turn HDR OFF" after selecting "options" on my camera screen. I also turn off the option in my settings that says " save normal photo in addition of HDR photo" BUT my iPhone is still taking HDR pics… So frustrating! Can someone help please?
  • Taking photos on iPhone to appear on another iPhone's photo stream? I'm going on holiday and don't want to take my iPhone 5c as it might get damaged/lost etc. So I want to take my old iPhone 4 just to take pictures on it. I was just wondering if there was anyway so when I take a photo is automatically appears on my iPhone 5c's photo stream back home? (This is just incase I lost my old photo - which wouldn't matter too much since it is extremely slow)
  • Photos on iPhone taking up a lot of space? I recently purchased an iPhone 5 and have taken a total of 22 photos. The problem is this takes up 2.1GB of memory. Is that normal? Is there a way in which the memory usage for photos can be decreased?
