My iPhone 5s won't turn on or charge. It isn't even showing the dead battery icon, the screen is completely black, and I can't restart it

Try using this:

Press home button and power button for 10 to 15 seconds and see if anything happens.

Its basically a rest combination of iPhone. It will not erase your content so try it. Make sure that your battery is charged.

If this won't work then you need to show this to the Apple service center.

  • My iphone won't turn on. Is it completely dead? My iphone 4s was getting really hot when i used it for a longer period. one morning when i woke up it was really hot and didn't turn on. I let it cool down and then i kept trying to open it but it didn't work. I also tried to hard reset it (home+lock button). Nothing happened. Yesterday i replaced it's battery with a new one. Still doesn't open. What can i do? I have a lot of data in it that was not backed up and i need it. Can i fix it?
  • My iPhone battery isn't showing the percentage of battery? I did a hard reset on my iPhone and now the battery icon in the top right is there but the percentage that is usually next to it is now gone. I'd like to know how this happened and if I can fix it.
