My iPhone 7, which I purchased on 1/1/17, says on Wikipedia that its lifespan is 2 years/1 month. Does that mean it will be dead by 2/1/19?

No of course not. There's no way to know exactly when it will stop working. It could stop working in a couple of minutes, or it could last a decade. However, over a few years, you will notice that the battery will start degrading. It will take longer to charge and it will drain faster. That's an inevitable thing of most devices that have rechargeable batteries.
Could be - but there are opportunities to replace those batteries.
There's no way to know how long any item will last.
Don't Worry About It.
No that is the APPALLINGLY bad average lifespan of that Apple model.
*Average lifespans on phones can be distorted by models which users upgrade before they've actually failed, which is often the case with Apple products.
No it doesn't. I also have an iPhone 7 which I got in September 2016. If that was the case that means it would 'die' next month, which of course isn't the case.
