Your iPhone should have prompted you to register an Apple ID when you setup and activated the device. If not and you still don't have one. You can create one through the settings menu. It's simple:
Settings > iCloud > Account

Sign up for an ID

You should make a new Apple ID. There are millions of songs, apps, books etc. On the App Store which you can download and enjoy.
