My IPhone back face microphone is muffled?

So I was recording a YouTube video y'know and after recording 3 minutes of footage, I checked it and noticed that my voice is muffled. At first, I thought it was my app acting up so I decided to record with the regular Camera app and realized that it's my microphone that is the the problem. My front face microphone is working fine but the back face one is a different story.

How do I fix this? This is an IPhone 7 by the way with IOS 11.2.2.

Maybe there's only one mic,
and the body of the phone is blocking sound from the opposite side.

  • MY iPhone speakers are muffled? I had my phone in my backpack and I had chocolate milk that spilled everywhere and the phone now speakers are muffled and distorted and my anker battery and AirPods are broken. How do I fix the phone speakers it happened days ago
  • My iPhone microphone is not working A week ago my iPhone 4 microphone stoped to work. It just stoped, did not lose it in the ground or something, just stoped to work. When I call someone or if someone call me, they can't here me, but I can here them. But If I turn on speaker, they hear me normally. Do you have any thoughts on how I can fix this?
  • My iphone got wet in the rain and now my sound is playing really low and muffled? It was raining and I was out and my iPhone was in my pocket, I don't even know how it got wet or it could of been a puddle that splashed but now when I play music, phone rings or text alert its very quiet and muffled and crackly or sometimes I can hardly hear anything at all. I've reset it twice now but nothing has changed I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this and has anyone had this problem before want to avoid paying a lot in the shop best I can
  • Listened to loud music now have a muffled ear? So i got Beats Studio by dr.dre. I put them in and i didn't know my iphone was on loud. We the beats made that noise LOUD. It was only for like 2 seconds but i took them off obviously. Now in my right ear its muffled. I'm only 14. Help! What did i do or is their any action i should take! Please!
