My iphone dropped in water. Will I lose the memory if i bring it in for them to fix
My iphone fell into a bucket of water and i put my phone in rice but when i turned it on it started glitching and i restart it and it won't let me type in my password. I saw a streak of water in it when i turn it to the side. This morning it seemed like the water was coming out a bit because it was different from yesterday. Should i leave it in rice for a few more days? I'm afraid of losing all my contacts and photos, (i don't know if i backed up the photos) will i lose them if i bring in my phone for them to clean it out? And what should i do about my phone?
Most likely. Apple likes to wipe your information for some reason.
You can just save your data by using a USB cord and storing it on a computer if you're worried.
Put your phone in rice, also do a back up of your phone
Put it in uncooked rice for 5 days, in a dry, warm place, with the battery removed if possible. Do NOT try to turn it on before that. As soon as you turn it on, the power takes short cuts thru the water and burns out the inside electronics.
Download itunes onto your computer and back up your phone onto your computer.
- Will clearing cache in an app make me lose data or memory? I need to clear up space on my iphone and I keep reading about clearing cache. If I do that will I lose progress on a game, for example, or will I basically be resting the app? Basically will I notice a difference if I do clear my cache?

- If I bring my own phone that is unlocked to a carrier, will they lock it with them and do they have every right to do that? I have an iPhone that I just had unlocked so I can go switch to another carrier, but I'm wondering what will happen when I take it to another carreir to put service on it. Will they lock it with them?
