My IPhone got liquid spilt on it whilst charging?

I didn't know and when I unhooked it this morning, the charger smelt burnt and sparked.
The bit on the phone where the charger plugs in smells burnt. Is my phone beyond rescuing?

Probably. You should have it checked by your provider. Or test if you can still charge it.

Put your phone in a container of rice, leave it in there for a few days without messing with it, it will absorb all of the liquid

  • Liquid behind my iPhone screen, how to fix it The other day I accidentally spilt air freshener oil on my phone, and the oil has got behind the screen, so when it's on a white background, you can see where the oil is! I've tried putting it in rice but it hasn't worked. The phone works fine but the speaker is slightly damaged. It's on the top of my phone. It's an iPhone so I can't take it apart, and also it not water it's oil so will it dry! Shall I use a hair dryer?
