My iphone got stolen in Italy, and now the Find my Iphone app says it is in Bangladesh?

Is there any way to get it back? Did someone have a similar experience?

You can have it reported. Tell your telephone company because they're taking up international charges. It's not likely you'll get your phone back. Sorry but you have to call the police and they only take part by jurisdiction. Police may be called something else there. The sad part is that it's not at the top of the list to find a stolen phone because of other crimes happening in the city and police especially in different countries aren't likely to communicate with each other. The best thing to do would be to tell your service provider and explain the situation so you cancel the phone service right away.

I already did that, but I hoped I could also get the Iphone back. It was almost new, without a scratch. Not to mention al the info I had on it, as I use it mainly for work.
The italian police told me they don't look for stolen phones (you could steal phones in Italy with no worries), and I can't reach Bangladesh police, especially not for a stupid thing like a phone theft.
I've sent a message to whoever is using it that I now where he is (as I really do) and I will tell the police. Hope the person will get scared. It's a stupid hope but it is something.
