My iphone has been 'searching. ' For network for 2 days now?
I turned on and off airplane mode, restarted and taken the sim out but still all it says is 'Searching…' . I'm on vodafone. And i havnt been able to call and text for days now
Contact the Vodaphone help line.
Well first, make sure you turn it completely off, leave it for 5 minutes, then turn it back on.
Or, you could reset by holding the home button and the button on top of the phone down at the same time. This should also restart it.
Or you could plug it into your computer and make sure you have the latest software. If you update your phone recently, there might have been a problem with the installation, so you can try doing it again, or going back to the operating system where it worked correctly.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try toggling it off: Tap Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
Or reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
And finally, contact your carrier to make sure the iPhone is properly set up on the account with appropriate data plan and that there are no account-related blocks.
