My iPhone home button doesn't work?
I was washing my hands when I accidentally bumped my iphone into the sink. I immediately pulled it out and dried it and put it in a bag of rice to drain. About an hour later I got my phone out of the bag and everything worked. The only thing that didn't was the home button. I have set up AssistiveTouch but it is really annoying to use that when I want to go to the home screen. How do I fix the home screen button without paying Apple or another company a fine to fix it?
Just get a new one =D. I know of a website that gives out free electronics. It's real I've gotten 4 iPhones and 2 iPods! All you have to do is complete an offer to show your not a robot. Have fun with your new phone!

You can't fix it yourself because it would be riskier and would probably mess up the phone by nudging something you didn't mean to could alter something important, so the only way to fix it would be to pay apple to fix it because they are the only company who can legally fix an iPhone or you could always get a newer one
Unfortunately I don't believe you can. Water is just not good for phones. :/ I'd say you could try apple but since it is water damage all warranty is void. So when they get it and open it up they just charge you full price for a new one… Sucks.
