My iPhone instant messaging is working?
If you have an iPhone like I do, please help! As you know, when you send a text and its blue, it means you're texting a person who also has an iPhone/instant messaging. And if the text is green, it means you're texting someone who doesn't have an iPhone or instant messaging (if you were wondering why they changed colors, you're welcom) but I was texting some friends who have an iPhone and instant messaging, but the text was green. How do I fix it so it goes back to blue? So it's not sent as a regular text message, but an I'm?
Try turning the phone off and on
I believe it's got something to do with the contact details you've got entered, I'd make sure you've got them correct, if so, double tap home button, hold down on one of the icons, then tap the - symbol of your text messages app, then turn off & turn on your phone. If nothing works, put up a post in Apples support page
IMessages are only available on iOS5 or higher. So if the person you're texting is running iOS4 or below it will send as an SMS.
iMessages can be disabled in Settings > Messages. Check yours is enabled. If it is theirs might not be. Also, you can associate or disable your email addresses and phone number in here. If their phone number is disabled then it will send as an SMS.
If your phone or their phone is not connect to the internet (Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE) then the iMessage won't be able to send so it will send as an SMS instead.
Sometimes (rarely) there's just a problem with the iMessage network and iMessages won't be able to be sent, so SMS will be sent here too.
If it's only the odd message that's sending as SMS then that's normal, but if its all the time it's one of of the above reasons.

- STRAIGHT TALK, iPhone 4 picture and video messaging not working? I just switched from AT&T to Straight Talk for the everything unlimited plan. However, I can't send picture or video message and the internet is really slow. I called Apple and they tried everything to help, but nothing work. They suggested I should Google for help. Can someone please help me? Thanks. I called Straight Talk they couldn't help either. My phone is already unlock by At&t.

I notice this problem EVERY time I try and send someone a picture that has an iphone.sometimes it says it's been delivered, and other times it just will not send. Does anyone else have this problem? It's so annoying and i hate it.
