My iPhone is acting weird on certain apps?

Okay so I have only dropped it once (and from a very short distance) and that was a couple days ago. Today though it started acting weird in Spike Dislike 2 (Lite) and Yatzy (free version). Spike Dislike is showing a small edge of light on the left side of the screen in Meaning of Light mode, even when it goes dark, and Yatzy won't let me connect to the online or bet modes. This did not start right when I turned it on, and everything else seems to be working perfectly fine.
Is this something I should be worried about?

No they probably didn't upgrade the app to the current os and it might be glitchy or it might be in beta (testing) don't worry I'd just delete it if I didn't need it. Just double click your home button and hold on a app And press the x to make it stop running( no it won't delete the app) just makes yout phone run faster and use less battery with less back ground programs running

Well try respringing(that's, if it's jailbroken) or try rebooting(that's, if its not). My best guess is the light on the side of the screen is due to mechanical activitiy(that's the falling of the iphone), I think that's what they mean when they say dead screen pixels or something. Can't help much but good luck. You could try visiting the apple store for more help

You could of damaged part of the inside screen. Although generally when it comes to third party apps the two best methods would be to close down the app in the multitasking bar by tapping the home button twice and turning off the app through there or simply delete the app and re-download it.
