My iphone is suddenly saying that my gmail username/password is incorrect?

My password was not incorrect as I checked by signing in on my computer. I changed my password of my gmail account and then tried again on my phone but it still says that the username or password for gmail is incorrect. How do I fix this?

Change the email account password logging into gmail and use that password in your iphone.
