My iphone is using way too much data?
My iphone is using an ridiculous amount of data all the sudden. Ten days into my billing cycle I got a text saying I've used the entire 5 gigs of data and they were adding an additional gig for $10. About five hours later, I got another text saying I'd used 75% of that. I got another about 10 hours later saying I'd used 100%. I'm not doing anything different that I can tell. When I'm home, which is most of the time, it is on my home internet (I checked and it's on the right setting). The network sharing is off. I've been closing my apps.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Who do I call to figure this out? AT&T? The apple store?
Is it possible someone is using your phone as a mobile hotspot or something without you knowing? I would definitely call ATT and find out.
- Will Sprint prepaid throttle you back of use too much data? I got an iPhone 4s for honor dollars and I pay $45 a month for unlimited everything plus $11 for insurance on the phone.
- Using too much data on my iPhone 4s? I have around 100mb left on my data plan of 3GB and i have 10 days left, i turned off my cellular data will that prevent me from going over my plan?
- Iphone is heating up too much by using cellular data? Whenever i turn on cellular data, te screen and back of my iphone gets very hot after 10 minutes or so. I was wondering if this was normal or there's a problem.
- IPhone has Way too much other? I have an iPhone 5 on v6.0.1. Now, I know that a 'quick fix' would be to restore my phone, as many have said in different answers. My Other category is 3.6 gigs of data. I was going to restore it, but iTunes is telling me that I don't even have enough free space to restore. Which was the INITIAL problem that I'm trying to fix, BY RESTORING. Does anyone have an tips, tricks, websites, limericks, that can/could help me out? Things that have helped you are VERY welcome.
