My iphone is water damaged, and the incident happened about a month or two ago?
So if i were to try to fix it right now by blow drying it and by putting it in rice for a few hours, would there be a chance that it would work?

Most cellphones do not successfully survive a dunking. It's time to get a new phone.
You can try, what have you to lose it doesn't work now what have to lose. I doubt in but worth a try. I know a guy that has shop he fixes all phones fixed mine. Maybe look for a repair store it would be cheaper if can be repaired then buy a new one. Hope it works for you.
Here is something you can try - completely strip your device down to the bare components and check for corrosion. Get your device through an ultrasonic bath. That will help remove any corrosion & excess moisture left in your device. Then you have to test al the parts and see what needs to be replaced.
If you can't do this i suggest to go to a specialised person. Maybe the repair won't be that expensive. What do you have to lose?
