My iPhone let off this annoyingly loud siren noise?
It was about 6:30 in the morning at this point. I had no alarms set, and none of my push notifications would ever do this. But out of nowhere my phone let out this piercingly loud sound
The only way I can describe the sound is this: y'know how whenever you're listening to the radio or tv and the emergency alert service interrupts what you're listening to (either to do a test or warn you of hazardous weather) and it goes "beep… Beep… Beep… Beep… And then you hear a high pitched "ERR" sound?
Well, it sounded just like that high-pitched sound. And it sounded off in second long beeps (whereas a regular alarm sounds almost twice every second). And my phone vibrated even though I had it on do not disturb mode. There was some a text alert on my screen, and it filled the entire screen, but I was so tired and so freaked out by the sudden noise that I just unlocked my phone to the home screen to get the noise to stop
I know it wasn't an Amber alert because when I get one of those, it sounds off as a regular tri-tone alert and has a tiny amount of alert text
Does anyone know what this could have been? My iPhone is a 4s on the latest update
Trade it in for an Android
My just did the same thing
Mine did it yesterday. Did you find out what caused it?
Same here. No concerns?
This just happened with my iPhone 6s
I heard in when i was in a call, i just heard a loud beeb and it killed my ears lol
I heard this loud buzzing sound when I opened my what's whilst I was typing a message What causes it hey My iPhone is an iPhone 6plus
Mine and my Wifes iPhone 6 are constantly sending out a siren sound for no reason. Has anyone got an answer why?
Thank god I'm not crazy, but now how do we stop this?
Android phone did it too. Something is definitely going on we are not going to like!
- Why iPhone s earbud make loud buzzing noise? When I was playing music on my iPhone 5s using its earbud, suddenly it makes a loud buzz (nearly killed my ears). At first, I thought it was my phone, but when I unplugged my earbud, the sound works fine. And then I thought my earbud was the problem but when I tried to restart my iPhone, and plugged in my earbud, it works! Happened for a few times and I still don't know how and why it happened.
- What do I do if I want to turn off everything that can make my iPhone 4S make noise? I want to bring my cell phone into class with me, but last time I did that it started playing music and my friends Siri started working. I just want to bring it in class and not have to worry about having it start making noise and me getting ISS. Please* don't put down that I shouldn't be bringing my phone to class because I really have to. Anyway I want to know all the things I need to turn off in order for it not to make any noise at all.
- What causes the rattling noise in the new iPhone 5 and is it bad it makes this noise? Near the proximity sensor when i shake the phone back and forth something inside rattles and it is beginning to concern me.
- My iphone 6 is makind very loud static noise? I was watching a video on the facebook app and turned on the sound but instead of music or talking there was very loud static noise although i had the sound on at lowest. I thought it was just the app so i quit and and opened it but whenever i tried to put on the sound there was the static again. I then tried to listen to music but whenever i pressed the play button, once again, there was very loud static noise. I tried to restart my iphone but it did nothing. Any advise?
