My iPhone over heats when it's charging, should I do something about it?

My iPhone has been overheating when ever I charged it or if I have been using it for a while and I'm not sure if I should do anything or not.

Does your case give good airflow? 7/10 overheating cases not caused by temperature is often caused by a case with bad airflow to crucial parts. If it doesn't give you a warning it's fine.

You should turn it off when its charging.

So I was wondering can I return it to the seller in a envelope in my mailbox and same thing for the other thing that is broken. like or do I have to go to ups and ship it like that
