My iphone power button got stuck and a day later it died completely?

The button was a little sticky and could still work, but then i could not even press it down at all and would have to wait for it to shut off after a minute like it normally does after being inactive. Then on my way to an apple store to get it fixed, the iphone died when i pressed the pause button on my headphones. I tried plugging it into a charger but it is unresponsive.

It's probably a mainframe glitch

Hold down the power and home button for about 15 seconds and you should be good to go. If not take it to the apple store
