My iPhone power button is broken, what can I do?

So out of nowhere, my power button stopped working. I have to use the home button to turn the screen on, and I can't turn the phone off, I just wait until it goes off by itself. I got it last November an it's been less than a year, am I still under warranty? What should I do? How much does it cost to get it fixed?

Religiously speaking, get a new one.

Pray to God that it starts working again.

Start by asking in the correct section.
Ring Apple and ask them where you stand with the warranty, normally it's 12 mths.

Pray for it? Or perhaps you should just restart your phone fully maybe its just a minor glitch

Don't try fixing it yourself, until it is your last option.
Get your customer number or proof of purchase etc.
Ring the help line, it is usually a free call.
Take it in to be fixed or replaced if under a year.

Otherwise try fixing it yourself.
To get a qualified service person to look at it, and fix it,
might be more money then to replace the phone.

Throw it away…
and buy android…
