My iphone will not be recognised by itunes and it has no service?
I was given an iphone as a present from my aunt. It has been rebooted and all network settings have been wiped out.now, my iphone is not connecting to itunes and it has no service but it does have wi-fi. Can anybody help me to try to get my iphone working.
You have to create a itunes acount to access itunes on the phone. If your trying to sync your phone to your computer over Wi-Fi. You need to have connected it to your computer at least once with a cable I'm betting for itunes to go ahead and sync from your computer. The Iphone could have been verified on more then 5 computers already. The iphone is trying to sync your aunts old media library to your itunes and they do not match so it won't connect over Wi-Fi.
you can put a ATT Sim card into 3G/3Gs Iphones for sevice if you have an existing plan.
you can restore your phone to factory default with itunes if you do the fallowing.
1.turn off the phone.
2.load up itunes.
3.plug in the iphone to the computer while holding the top screen button and the round home button down.
4.wait for itunes to recognize the phone is in safe mode and then let go of the buttons.
5. Itunes will now ask you if you want to wipe the phone and re-install the IOS. Say yes.
6. When the phone is done installing the new IOS and it loads up and everything.authorize your computer to be used with your phone. Its in the itunes tools tab some ware.
some ware after all this when you try to add stuff to your phone with itunes it will ask you if you want to use your media library with the phone.choose yes. Now you can sync with the wireless feature and the only authorized computer will be yours to use with your phone. Now you need to assign a itunes account to your phone to use the app store and download new software for it.
- Usb not recognised iphone I'm trying to restore my iphone because its jail broken and i deleted everything out of ifile and now it won't go past the set up it just keeps flashing the set language page how can i get my computer to recognize my iphone?
