My iPhone won't connect to Wi-Fi with no apparent reason, how can I fix this?

My iPhone is on a 3G plan and I don't want to use up all of my data, I don't use data in a Wi-Fi zone and my home Wi-Fi won't let me connect for some odd reason. No one changed the password and no one in my house has messed with it in any way. Whenever I go to my settings, I tap "Wi-Fi" and the I tap on my home's Wi-Fi, but it just says, unable to connect, everytime I do so.

I've see that happen at work occasionally. Try power cycling the router.

Yea ok after power cycling the router and it still won't connect check these two things.

First double check the password that you are trying to use to connect. If that is correct then your router might have what is called MAC list filtering turned on.

What this does is if someone tries to connect to your Wi-Fi and has the password but the systems Media Access Control or MAC Address is not in the list of "approved" devices it will not allow the connection to happen. It is like a second layer of security for Wi-Fi in a manner of speaking.

Hope that helps

You have to tap the arrow on your Wi-Fi in your iphone and then tap forget device then turn Wi-Fi off and on again if it didn't found your Wi-Fi tap ''other'' then enter your Wi-Fi details and if you don't know your Wi-Fi password, on your computer click on Wi-Fi(if you connected with Wi-Fi) then rightclick on the Wi-Fi that you connected then click on properties or details or.(somthing like this) and you will see your password in dots if you want to see it, it is something under it and you choose it and you will see your Wi-Fi password
