My Iphone4's Media Volume isn't working?
I got this brand new iphone 4 on Tuesday the 6th. Today (Friday the 9th of August) the media volume stopped working. The side buttons don't show me the volume bar. I know it's not the speakers because I called my phone and it rang perfectly fine. But what's not working is my music, Youtube, and my games. My Phone doesn't even show the volume bar that's in the multi-tasking bar, or the volume bar under the music's name. I also have the latest version of IOS so I know that's not the problem. Also whenever I press the play button on my music you can see the timer go but you just don't hear anything… With or without headphones.
Just restore your iPhone, because it seems your iOS might be corrupt or you have a faulty phone.
Take out your SIM, plug the iPhone into the computer, back-up your data on your computer, then follow the on-screen instructions to restore it. After you've restored it, sync your music/apps back onto your iPhone. If that didn't work than you have a faulty iPhone and should exchange it for a new one.
You might have to configure your settings manually. You can call customer support, or return the iPhone 4 and get a new one. This isn't a common problem, so I'd recommend looking through your settings.
- Why isn't my Wi-Fi working on my social media apps? For some reason, my home Wi-Fi isn't connecting to my social media apps on my iPhone. I know the Wi-Fi is working because safari and mail working, just not on apps like Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr or Pinterest?
- Why isn't my volume working on my iPhone 5s? So when I try to put my volume up or down instead of saying volume it says headphones! I don't have any headphones on or anything and I can't hear anything! I went to my sounds in the settings and nothing worked! Why can't I listen to anything and why does it say headphones and not volume!
- Volume on my iPhone 4S isn't working? I was just using it to listen to music and it all of a sudden stopped having sound come out of it. It still said the song was playing but no noise? What can I do to make it work again? It's very annoying.
- Volume on my iPhone 4S isn't working I never dropped my phone or got it wet so I have no idea what happened, when I press the volume buttons it doesn't show up on my screen but it makes that noise when Siri comes on and when i checked the ringer volume it also made noise but other than that There's no noise coming from my phone. I've tried turning off my phone and turning it back on, I checked to make sure the volume wasn't on 0, I never tried using headphones but I don't have any right now so…
