My laptop freezes and then can't find a connection?

Okay so my hp laptop always freezes and then I'm forced to turn it off the bad way and after that, I cut the laptop back on and then it can't find any Wi-Fi connections which isn't true because I'm on Wi-Fi on my iPhone ps3 and other devices. I also try shutting down my laptop the correct way and try restarting it but it still can't find any Wi-Fi so what could seem to be the problem?

You have to be more specific as to which HP laptop and what operating system it uses. Freezing can occure due to a hardware or software error, or missing Windows files. Also, a lot of older HP laptops had motherboard & video problems, which can relate to the computer not recognizing its internal Wi-Fi card. First I would go into Device Manager, see if there are any yellow exclamation points next to any of the hardware. If there are, try updating the drivers for your Wi-Fi card. If you're using Windows 7, hit F8 before Windows starts and use Start-Up Repair. You can also try to check for errors on your hard drive. Assuming it's "C", right click on C: > Properties>Tools>Error Checking. It will ask if you want to check for errors the next time you boot up the computer, click Yes. Sometimes this will fix errors or missing/corrupted files
