My music on my 4s iPhone is missing?

I plugged my iphone 4 into the computer and transferred music from an iPod of my friends then unplugged it and now all of my music is missing that I had before. How do I get it back?

Best thing I can tell you is to make sure you use iTunes to transfer music ONLY because we all know how strict apple is, just plug it in and try copying all the music files and pasting them into your device under devices in iTunes or manually dragging them into it. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I understand people have un-sync'd everything and then sync'd again which has worked for them. I have quite a number of songs deselected that i had to do manually and took me a while so i do not want to do this again. I love my top rated play list though. Is there another way to get it back?

  • Missing music on my iPhone 4S? I updated to iOS 7 about two months ago, and haven't experienced any problems with the update thus far. However, today while going for my morning job, I realized the majority of my songs were gone. Instead of my normal 80 or so songs, I only have 18. Is there anyone who has experienced this problem? Is there any way to fix it and get my music back? PS: Please explain step by step with as much detail as possible, as I have little to no experience with iTunes.
  • Lots of music missing from iPhone? I plugged my iPhone into my computer last night in order to download a CD onto it. Today I found that nearly all the songs that I've downloaded in roughly the past six months are gone. There are a few recent songs on there, but all the rest was just gone.
