My new apple headphones broke inside my jack on my iPhone?
I was able to remove the tip of the head phones from the jack but now my headphone jack dosnt work. What do I do?
Get it serviced, but as its physical damage, its not covered under warranty.
Call Applecare at 800-275-2273.
I would suggest going to your local beauty supply store and ask a store rep for the smallest needle nose tweezer's they sell, it might be quite possible you can gently pick it out your self using a magnet while trying to pull it out. If you get them small enough you might not need a magnet, they have really tiny ones! And they are very pin pointed at the end and sharp! Almost forgot the most important part buy a replace jack on eBay an install the new one. I'm sure you can do it better then apple tech
I try to do a lot of things myself when it comes to my iPhone because I don't trust anyone and I feel I can do it better, like the time I switched from my 3GS to a 4 gs, the memory card slot was smaller in the 4gs and I had to slice it to fit.
Check the hardware store also, my ex husband is a diesel mechanic, I used to see all types of small tool's in his tool box.
If that doesn't work, try searching it on YouTube, they have hundreds of fix it yourself tutorials for the iPhone from how to take it apart and put it back together to fixing a broken screen ect,
And if all my suggestions fail, contact Apple, and hope you get to speak to a real human being instead of a robot.
- Where do I sell my iPhone 5s which is brand new but it was exchanged at Apple since I broke my old iPhone 5s? So a few months ago I broke my old iPhone 5s and went to the Apple store to go exchange it for a new one. I got a iPhone 8 for Christmas and now that I can't go back to Apple to exchange it again, Where do you guys think is the best place to sell it?
- Should I fix my iPhone headphone jack or buy Bluetooth headphones? I have an iPhone 3GS that has a broken headphone jack so I can only get volume out of one side. Should I get this fixed or should I buy bluetooth/wireless headphones. The repair costs $60 and most wireless headphones are at least $100. Would it be worth the money for good headphones rather than the repair. I have only used cheap $20 headphones before. Any links to good Bluetooth headphones at a decent price would be appreciated
- My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
