My new iphone 6 is currently is on 8.02 and is automtically updating to 8.1.1, how can i stop this?

I want to keep it on this ios since 8.1.1 patches pangu jailbreak. It says the download has about 20 minutes left. I immediately disconnected from the Wi-Fi, went into settings, and turned off download automatic updates. However the download still says paused. Is there any way to completely stop this? Or when it is done downloading, will it ask me whether or not i want to install it?

Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?

  • Smartphone broke. Currently can't afford a new one. Any ideas on how to raise money quickly? I'm a college student. Already dirt poor. All my money goes into school, bills, and food. My smartphone recently broke, and I work for an Uber-like on demand phone app service (which requires an iphone 5 equivalent or better) for my money currently as well as sell art on instagram. Basically I work through my phone. But I broke it. Are there any SAFE ways to earn cash faster? I already donated all my clothes, and I don't even wanna tell you how the pawn shop fooled me.
  • If i restore my new iphone from backup, will it delete what i currently have on it? I had an appointment at the genius counter at the apple store on sunday because the lock button on my phone was broken blah blah blah… Anyway, i had no idea that they would give me a brand new phone? I took some pictures and videos on the new phone that i'd like to keep though and if i restore the backup from my old phone from itunes, will it delete/replace these pictures?
