My new iPhone has a scratch what should I do?

2 weeks ago I got an iPhone XR from the apple store, today I noticed that it has a scratch on the screen, would apple replace my phone if it has a scratch on the screen? It's a little tiny scratch. I don't want to drive to the apple store again, the nearest one is 4 hours away. Would it even be worth it

Did you get AppleCare+ by chance? If not, then you will have to pay around $500.00 for a screen replacement. If you did get it, then it will cost you just $30.00 in comparison. You will have to probably send the phone out for it to get fixed. They may or may not give you a new phone if you bought AppleCare+. If they don't give you a new phone, they will fix your phone then for just $30.00 in total not including tax.

But it will be $500.00 like I said if you didn't get the plan. If that's the case, you may want to try and live with the scratch for the next couple of years.

Me I'd probably sleep it off unless you gotta finback our there thenvwhy not

If it is through your fault & you have no AppleCare support then no. They likely wouldn't do anything.

Though I don't think you have to go to an Apple Store exactly in any case. Any authorised Apple retailer/reseller/repairer would be able to help.

If it was scratched out of the box, you could have exchanged it for another new never used phone. Noticing a scratch 2 weeks later, means it happened AFTER the first day out of the box. Gorilla glass is strong against certain types of damage, but impacts (side, corner and direct with a hard object, and scratches, with ANYTHING harder than glass), will infact cause easy damage, that is why cases, bumpers, screen protectors and covers are sold, because everyday grit will scratch the glass and plastic, being harder than both, and does not need a ton of pressure to make a noticeable scratch/gouge.

What ever it costs you shud fix it. A scratch in the phone world is basically the same as a crack- it is considered damage and if you ever try to get a warranty replacement for blck screen/speaker/battery ect… They will charge you fr sending in a damged phone- also your value on the phone for resell or trade in if you upgrade will basically be worthless exept on ebay or amazon where you must disclose the damage.
