My new kitten won't stop meowing

Well, we've been TOLD he's six weeks, but he's only about as big as my iPhone (not including his tail) and he only weighs 4-5 ounces. So far, no issues jumping or climbing, he's even rolling around and chasing after our two older cats, the tree of them are getting along wonderfully. He has food and water, and a heated blanket on my bed to sleep on, and non-clumping litter in a short container on the floor. He is purring 24/7 (literally, it get's a tad annoying after awhile. But he meows during EVERYTHING. If he's jumping, he's meowing. Running involves a short bursts of meows, he even meows as he chews. Not to mention he LOVES being around me, he won't leave me alone! Being next to me doesn't cut it, he needs to be on my chest, or on my shoulder at all times as long as I'm home. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it. It's sweet, I just want to be sure he has everything he needs and isn't trying to get my attention for any reason. Before I get yelled at, YES he should probably still be with his mom, but she was hit by a car a few days after he was weaned. We have a vet visit coming up soon to determine his age, but to be on the safe side I've been giving him a mix of dry cat food and kitten formula mixed into a mush, and rubbing his belly in a downward motion to aid digestion. Is there anything else I'm missing? I'm not a pro when it comes to raising kittens, but this little guy needed a home, and it was me or the pound. Any help will be great, and please, I don't need a lecture about giving him to someone who knows how to care for him, I'm attached and he's become a part of our hone.

Sounds like you really adore this kitten. He is probably meowing so much cause he telling you hey look at me. But to me it sounds like he's confusing you with his mom.a kitten that young needs a mom to help him with life and give him attention so I guess your his new mommy. So cute.

Some cats just like to meow. He'll probably grow out of it after a while, but if you want him to stop soon, ask your vet if there's any special product or thing you can do to at least make him not as persistent. I wouldn't worry.

Babies meow a lottttt, it's quite normal. He's probably very attached to you and wants to be given attention 24/7 so he meows more frequently. It's nothing to worry about. Some cats are just mouthier than others.

You're doing great. My adult cat is like this. Meows when she enters a room as if to say "Here I'm, look at me". Meows jumping up on things, jumping down from things, when someone stands or walks in the room, she's just generally very vocal. I think it's adorable, though it can get annoying. Hopefully he'll grow out of it. Also, my cat meows about 50% less now that she's spayed. I don't absolutely know if it has anything to do with her being spayed, but I think so because NOTHING stopped her before. Lol.
