My PC keeps losing internet connection after 5 minutes every time i re-plug my Wi-Fi USB thingy?
I have a USB stick that I plug into my PC with, It then allows me Wi-Fi connection, but then it just loses connection. The internet in my house is working fine, I can browse on my iphone and my brother is Playing league of legends and has no problem at all.
what is this madness? I have to replug my USB every 2 minutes and then my Wi-Fi just dies. I have to continuously re-plug my Wi-Fi stick in order to revive my internet connection.
so confused…
Added (1). Once I connect my stick, I get 2 minutes of Wi-Fi connection available, then it loses connection.
I'm guessing as soon as I restart it, I get to its peak? Then it just goes down and dies off?
Either the Wi-Fi adapter is faulty has outdated drivers or
You may be getting interference from neighbouring wireless signals.
1)Change the broadcast channel on the router to channel to a less congested one than the current. You can download netstumbler or inssider (google them) and they will display the broadcast channels of any neighbouring Wi-Fi networks
2)Turn off any baby alarms cordless phones wireless doorbells as these use the same 2.4Ghz frequency
3)Update the firmware of the router and drivers for your PC/laptop
4) If no better replace the Wi-Fi adapter
I have a similar problem with the Ethernet on my desktop PC, although not as frequently as your problem. It appears to be a problem with the Ethernet driver crashing. It is the latest driver for the Ethernet card. I open Network & Sharing Center and disable and re-enable the adapter and it works fine for some time.
As an experiment, see if the Wi-Fi fails as quickly if you do not use it. If it only fails when you are using it heavily, I would suspect that it is driver/adapter problem.
Next, rather than unplugging the adapter which will completely reset it, try disabling the adapter in N & S Center as I do with my Ethernet adapter. If it recovers without unplugging, it suggests a driver problem.
Another rather wayout possible fix is to create a System Restore point, then uninstall the Wi-Fi software completely, then restore the System Restore point you created. It might not work, but I has a problem with the touchpad on my laptop. The tap function would only work on the lower half of the pad. After going through the procedure above, the touchpad now works properly.
Unless you are a long way from the router, a small nano USB wireless adapter may work very well and they are fairly inexpensive. It may be worth changing to a different make of USB wireless adapter.

Is there a way to freely edit my music without itunes constantly syncing?
- Online Games on iPhone keeps refreshing every 5 minutes? Whenever I try to play an online game on my iPhone 4 such as Clash of Clans, I can usually play about 5 minutes in before it says I disconnected with the server and it refreshes the game. It is pretty annoying when i come back and it did not save whatever i have done the last time. Any advice?
- My iPhone charger breaks every time I plug it in? I'm getting really angry. I have already bought 5 chargers but once I plug them into my Macbook Pro they just stop working, even if I take it out and plug it in to one of those wall plug things or car plug things.
