My power/lock button on my iPhone 4S has broke?

My power/lock button has broke on my iPhone 4S, how can I turn my phone back on?

If you plug it into a wall jack it should
power on. If it does not, you either
have a faulty charger/cable, or the
iPhone is actually in DFU mode. Seeing
how the computer does not recognize
the iPhone, your phone likely thinks
the power button is depressed.
Unfortunately, the only good way to
resolve that is to replace the ribbon
cable controlling the power button,
which is the headphone flex. Read
some of the hints on this page, it
might help you understand what that
cable is and why it would need
replacing.

Fortunately the cost is not extreme,
and should run you around £70 to get
repaired, locally, or on the internet. You could also buy the part off of eBay for cheap and do a bit of D. I.Y with it?

If I were you, this is what I'd do.
1. Throw iPhone against wall.
2. Wait for the Samsung Galaxy S4 or buy the S3.
3. Done.

If the battery is gone and you plug it in it will come on in about 5 minutes or you can try DFU mode but these methods are only temporary to get it fixed I recommend you go to a proper repair shop to get it fixed.
