My side volume buttons are not working on my iphone?
I have an iphone 4 and my side volume buttons are not working. It responds to my click on the button but it just comes up with the speaker and not the volume actually turning up/down. Even when I go onto my music the volume bar underneath is even 'blanked' to show that the volume is not available or muted. But it's not muted as I've checked several times. I've also restarted my phone too, help me please
It could be the buttons just wearing. I have an iPhone 5s and my top button is starting to go. One of the downfalls of apple products!
If the buttons are wearing off, Go To > settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > turn on Assistive Touch. A little button will appear on your screen. Click on it, click on ''Device". And you can change your volume there. Many people uses this when the Home Button isn't working.

No problems what so ever just recently I think it started last week where I couldn't volume up my device, the volume down button worked. But no matter how many times I'd press volume up it wouldn't work. Just click click click, nothing else! I've been swiping up the screen like where you can increase the volume from that but it's getting annoying this is a new phone! It should work perfectly.
