My Twitter account won't sign out of my iPhone?

So every time I log onto Twitter on my iPhone and try to log out it doesn't work, I go to setting then delete account and then once that's done my username and password aren't in the boxes anymore but when I go back to the Twitter app my account is still logged in yet my username and password isn't in the settings bit where it should be and the only way to log out is to delete the app, why does this happen?

Quite simple… You just have to uninstall the twitter program and install it again. Well thats the only way… This happens by harmful malwares… Try scanning your phone every week or month, depending on your usage.

You probably are logged it twitter from the settings so the app takes your log in info from there. Go to settings>twitter>select your name>Delete account

  • Why does gmail sign me out of my account every time I close my safari app on my iphone? This is a recent development and I'm starting to get really irritated. It started happening today after I cleared my history. Before today, I could close all my apps and when I opened them I would still be logged into my gmail account. This is no longer the case, and I'm not sure why. I cleared my cache and enabled cookies, so I don't understand why gmail is doing this. I've probably tried logging into my gmail account 10 times trying to fix this.
  • Why can you not sign out of your account on the Sky Go for IOS app? I use an iPhone 3GS, and on the Sky Go iPhone app, there's no way of signing out of your account, no button, no link - nothing. How the hell do you sign out of your account in the app?
  • When you change your twitter name does it sign you out from the iPhone app? My mom took away my ipod and computer and I changed my twitter name during so she doesn't read every one of my tweets (she probably saw a lot of them already). I know that when you change your username if signs you out of the computer, but does it sign you out of the iPhone/iPod app too? (I can't even delete the twitter app or sign out on my ipod because I don't know where she put it)
  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
