My Verizon Iphone 4 won't send or receive messages from Non-Iphones

I recently got my iphone and switched to verizon about a month ago, right after I activated the phone i did the IOS6 update and everything was working fine about a week ago, i noticed that MMS won't work, my cellular data is on, i've tried turning Wi-Fi on/off, i've tried turning imessage off/on and i've done the network reset twice and also restarted my phone multiply times, i've made sure MMS is turned on and i've even deleted apps that might have interfered with the images but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have the same problem? Are there any solutions? I have not tried to contact verizon because i'm going next week but i'm just wondering if i can fix this myself.

MMS issues are network related… Its ok to troubleshoot the phone if you wanna, but to keep my sanity, i would have called Verizon last week. LOL

if you still have the same issue and Verizon says everything is… Try an itunes restore… Or get a free warranty replacement

  • Why won't my iPhone send messages to non-iPhone users? I've had my iPhone 4 for a while now, I go through Virgin Mobile. I've never had problems until recently, but it's really strange. I can text certain people with non-iPhones, but some I get an error. I can receive theirs always. Any resolutions? I have changed the contact from iPhone to just mobile… Still doesn't do the trick. I have turned off MMS. No such luck.

I have checked the service centre number which is correct, I have updated the ios software thing (I'm not too clever with Apple products but yes it's been updated).It says iMessage is waiting for activation but it has said this for ages now. I have tried absolutely everything with still nothing. I can make calls, use the internet, I can do everything else! I just can't send or receive text messages… Will someone please help me?
  • My MacBook Air won't send messages to non-iphones? Yes, my iCloud is on both Mac and iPhone messaging & they're the same one. My MacBook air used to let me message non-iphones, but a couple months ago it stopped letting me. It's become an issues, what do I do?
