My volume isn't working on my iphone?

It is an iphone 4s and when i try playing music, it plays the music, but the bar that adjust the volume doesn't show up and the buttons arn't working. There's no sound coming from the speakers but it shows that its playing.

Is your little switch on the left of your phone red?
There's a little silver flippy thing if you look above the volume buttons, make sure it's not a red dot, haha

I have some a couple of solutions to your problem.
1) Maybe you should get your iPhone checked or send it to apple or call support. It might be broken if the buttons doesn't work. You might pay some additional if you don't have extended warranty.
2) go to settings>Music> Volume limit.

My iPhone thinks there are headphones connected at all times, when disconnected no music plays, but the phone says it's playing. When the headphones are plugged in then there's music. Iphone4s fails…

Even with headphones, my 4S is doing the same thing… ;n;

I have an IPhone 5c and nothing is working. I've tried putting the ringer on and blasting the volume but it doesn't work

  • Why isn't my volume working on my iPhone 5s? So when I try to put my volume up or down instead of saying volume it says headphones! I don't have any headphones on or anything and I can't hear anything! I went to my sounds in the settings and nothing worked!
