My Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting from my Iphone 6, any ideas?

I've disconnected my router multiple times and it hasn't worked. The Wi-Fi only works in one area and for my other family members they have no problem with the Wi-Fi. Any Ideas?

Upgrade your router, and swap over to 5ghz, your range is probably bad.

The first thing to establish is whether the iPhone has problems with all Wi-Fi networks or just yours. If it is all Wi-Fi networks, then the phone is probably faulty or is infected with a virus or other malware.

Some Wi-Fi devices have compatibility issues with certain routers. My Asus laptop is very slow connected to my current router. My security camera would not even detect my previous router and had to use Ethernet instead. My old HP laptop would keep disconnecting on my old router as well.

Changing the router solved the camera and HP laptop problems - I did not get the Asus until after I changed the router.

Solutions I have used for devices with integral Wi-Fi such as phones, tablets, cameras, etc include:

1) Adding a wireless access point to my network and using that as a different Wi-Fi for the device that would not work properly with the router.

2) Use a Wi-Fi range extender and connect the device to the extended Wi-Fi network instead of the network from the router.

3) Changing the wireless channel the router was using - some devices are sensitive to interference from other nearby networks and changing the channel changes the sensitivity.

For devices such as Windows computers, you can also try:

1) Finding and installing a different driver for the wireless adapter in the device.

2) Disabling the problem adapter and using a USB wireless adapter (of a different make) providing it has the correct drivers for the version of Windows.
