My Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting on my laptop?

I'm having problems on my laptop because its Wi-Fi connection always disconnect or sometimes it will have a yellow sign with a exclamation and a sun that say there's connection or when its cconnected when i go to browser it always says unable to connect with a the internet. I don't know if it on my laptop or router but when i use my iphone its working but sometimes its says it can't connect but not as much on my laptop it always disconnect every 5-10 minutes.

This happens to me sometimes… I'm not sure if it would work for you, but first you want to make sure your wireless is on. (It most likely is) Then you would right click the icon and choose troubleshoot. It will normally get you your connection back.

First thing is go into your router and make sure your wireless has some encryption running. If not, add one such as wep, wpa, wpa2, or something of the like. If you do have one, change it to a new one. If the problem still persist, upgrade the firmware on the router. If that does not help, try moving the router to a better area.

Depending on when your router was made, and what type of wireless it runs, will depend on what devices can interfere with it. Flourescent lights, phones, microwaves, can wreak havoc on older wireless routers.

If you have a lot of things on the router it will do that if you can lower the use age of other things or disconnect some thing like tv or blue ray player while using the computer or move closer to the router will give real problems in bad weather good luck
