Need advice i'm confused. In computer programming courses?

I'm interested in IT sector so i'm planning to move in IT field as my career.
for that i have made many inquires in institutes or can say classes there they explain me that my course will be started from very basic stage see below.

Core programming:-
Front end --- C, C++

Back end --- SQL, Data Structure

it will be of 6 months course.

then they said they will start my advance 6 months course which will cover
(Java, .Net, PHP, Android) same 6 months course.

Also i asked them a question after learning all these will i be able to develop
Software's, Plugins, Also android apps. Like What's app etc. And iPhone Apps. Too.
So they replied yes but my friends is it really true?

Another i wanted to ask what is j Query?

please friends guide me in proper and best way its my career decision.

To learn any kind of software programming language, you will first need to understand how basically software works so to understand this you will need to go through C, C++ and Data Structures. Once you get an idea about how this languages build business solutions then it will be easy for you to understand Java.

Java has two types, Core and Advanced Java.

Next.Net, This is also called ASP.NET(Active Server Page) developed by Microsoft this is language used for developing web pages and design web-sites and web-applications

PHP, another next language for developing websites. A good example is facebook.Php is in demand these days.

Android - Android though is now going down but still its market will be for next two years. So don't worry more about future. Learn this language this will be useful alot.

iPhone development is always a green field. So iphone is again a good choice

But my question is how could you understand all these languages in just 6 months of course? Surely the institute will make you fool because to just simply understand c, c++ and DS you will need 6 months!

after all C is the a, b, c, d of computer language. Every computer language is like C only the interface and sytanx keep on changing. All the best!
