Netflix took money on free trial?

I have had net flicks 2 days but I use it on my play station and iPhone so are they charging me for both of them or just for one besides this netflicks is a very good site.

Netflix doesn't charge for the streaming service, they in fact advertise trying the free trial for the streaming service. They shouldn't charge you anything until the trial is up.

They recently updated their "free" trial offer to require you to make a deposit.

By making the consumer acknowledge that they're paying a deposit, they're making it more obvious that this is a service you *will* be charged for.

(And if you cancel before your "free" month is up, your deposit is returned to the card you provided upon registration.)

This is also a way for them to make money since you could sign up for multiple free trials on different devices and technically get free service for a while.

When you start a free trial, Netflix puts through an authorization for the amount of your membership. Depending on the financial institution and other factors this amount may end up as hold and affect your available balance. The charge will not post to your account until your free trial has ended.

When I started my free trial the amount showed as a hold for the first week and then it was gone.

People ask this question a lot and I assure you that they have NOT charged you yet. Netflix puts an immediate HOLD on your money to make sure the credit card is good. If you use a debit card, then the money comes out immediately.

In any case, if you cancel any time in the 30 days, you will get your money back. You could cancel right now, get your money back and STILL watch Netflix for the rest of the free trial.
