Network error, connection refused when installing cydia?

I'm trying to install cydia onto my jailborken iphone 4 verizon. I already did the redsnow jailbreak then did the boot log. I'm using putty and windshp and am getting the same message for both software. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, with a 2wire router from AT&T. I really want to get cydia on this device please help.

First of all if you have a jailbroken device, cydia should already be installed! If its not then you don't have it jailbroken. Try greenpoison.com n install absinthe v2.0.4 (win) IOS 5.1.1 its alot more reliable IMO. BUT if you have 6.0 then you are out of luck since no jailbrake is available at this time!

  • Wi-Fi connection reset error loading page? I have a netgear wnr3500lv2 Wi-Fi router and when am using the Wi-Fi either on my laptop or phone i would constantly get errors about the connection reset by peer or an error with something about peers, it is especially noticeable on my jailbroken iPhone when i try to install a package, i would have to try 3 or four times before it would work and when using Firefox i would try to load a page and would get the connection reset error
  • What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?

I used tiny umbrella and managed to get past the 3194 error, but then I'm getting error 11.
