New iPhone 5s issue? Dust in rear camera lens

Bought a new iPhone 5s from Apple retail store last month and been using it with love and great care.

However, few weeks ago I noticed a tiny dot of white dust/lint showing under the rear camera lens.

I do believe it is definitely trapped inside the lens since I tried many times wiping the rear camera lens with soft micro fibre cloth and all surface dirts cleaned and gone expect this one tiny dot still exist and perfectly staying on same spot…

I love Apple products but this issue let me down. This thing costs me a lot and I'm not happy using my new iPhone with a dust trapped on rear camera. What to do now? Take it back to Apple store and will they replace a new one? Well they better give a new one otherwise I demand full refund… FYI I live in Australia.

Please help and share any experiences or useful advices you may have.

Does the Apple One-Year Limited Warranty considered as under warranty when purchase apple hardware products? It's only been a month since I purchased it… http://www.apple.com/...-warranty/

If your camera is still under warranty (you will have to check with Apple in Australia), then they will either replace the camera or repair it.

If the camera is out of warranty, then any repairs, of course will be using your AUD.

  • Why is my iphone 5 rear camera suddenly blurry? So it's not that it's dirty, I've tried cleaning it. It was literally fine yesterday but all of a sudden it like won't focus. When I first switch to the rear cam, for a split second it's fine. Then it just goes to being unfocused. Is it just a problem with the auto focus? If so, and I have to take it into apple, will I have to pay for a solution? If so how much. P.s my front defacing camera is completely fine

After replacing a cracked screen on a verizon iphone 4 the frontfacing camera is stuck on shutter, while the rear camera only works sometimes… I have tried checking the connections, as well resetting everything and even restoring. I have heard about possibly jumping something on the logic board but can't find where, a picture would be great.
