New itunes 11 won't let me add music to my iphone?
I just updated my itunes and now I can't add music from my library to my iphone, it just shows a red no symbol.
You should contact apple customer care. That happened to me on my ipad, and they fixed a problem after calling. It always helps to contact customer care
Let's make the New iTunes look like the Old one.
iTunes 10 & 11 are identical after you reset some of your old settings.
Open iTunes with out any devices connected.
In the top left corner click the little icon, then click Show Menu Bar.
Click on View > Show Sidebar
Click on View > Show Status Bar.
Click Edit > Preferences > Open the Device Tab
Check the box that says Prevents iTunes from Syncing Automatically. (Prevents iTunes from emptying your phones music)
Your screen will now be just like it was in iTunes 10.
Try exiting iTunes, then restarting it and trying over. That's what I do when iTunes won't add my music to it.
- Why won't the new iTunes let me transfer my music to my iPhone? I have the most updated iTunes and iPhone 5 software.
