New itunes music goes to bottom of playlist?

When i download new music and i drag the song into my playlist, it goes all the way down to the bottom so itll be like 600 songs down and i have to drag it all the way back to the top. How do i make it so that when i put a new song into my playlist it goes to the top and becomes song #1?

There's a SORT function. Learn to use it. It might be as easy as adding a column for *date added* or *date modified*, and then you can click on it. Right-click on the columns HEADER - and choices will come up. You can also set this up on your iPhone, if that is what you are talking about - I assumed that you mean a computer-based index like iTunes. I have THOUSANDS of things on my computer, including hundreds of podcast episodes - I need to sort them all the time - so I have several column headers I use.

  • I can't drop music from my itunes on to my created playlist on my iphone? :( for some reason i can't drop music onto my playlist on my iphone. I can drag witch ever song but it won't drop. It only lets me drag and drop music onto my iphone and it will be there just not on my created playlist. This has never happened till now. The sync box is checked aswell as selected playlists, artist, albums, and generes and both inlude music videos and voice memos are checked? Can some one help me out on why i can't drop my music onto my playlists on my Iphone
