New to jailbreak. Just need some advice or guidance?
I have never tried to jailbreak my iPhone. I have always wanted to. But with so many options I'm kind of in the dark as to where to even begin. Which one is the safest and least likely to get a virus. I was hoping someone that had done it could gifemesomeadiveandpiibtmeinthe right directions. I have researched it online but I wanted to speak to someone that has done it that I could ask questions and maybe walk me through it. I know I will. Have to wait until the jailbreak for iOS 11.4 comes out. Like I said I'm new to all this and would appreciate some advice. Please only serious answers.
Why do you want to
What do you think you will achieve other than a high possibly of destroying your phone
I've been out of the loop of jailbreaking for a few years, but I do know that jailbreaking currently for newer iOS versions is very, very difficult; if not impossible.
I'm going to be honest. If you're worried about safety, then you shouldn't jailbreak. Jailbreaking itself usually is harmless but there's a possibility of something going wrong. Though with iOS, it is generally very difficult to permanently brick your phone; you would simply need to restore in iTunes.
Check Redmond Pie. When a new jailbreak comes out, they usually post a guide on how to do it. Also consider checking EverythingApplePro. He's a YouTuber who makes videos on iOS devices and also posts jailbreak updates.
You shouldn't jailbreak just for the hell of it.
With a jailbreak you can
a) use other SIM cards if your phone has a SIM lock
b) run apps that weren't published via the app store for various reasons
If you don't need to do either, I'd advise against jailbreaking unless you have a spare old iPhone you won't mind turning into a paper weight.

My contract ends in november but they said i can change my phone on july 14. I have verizon btw. I have like three weeks left, but i have some very important stuff in my phone and i'm expecting some calls/texts. Will verizon fix my phone, but more importantly, can they fix my phone? Or is it dead already? any advice would be appreciated!
