New unlocked iphone won't connect to 3G?
Just got a new unlocked and jailbrocken iphone. I can send/receive text messages a make calls, but it says that it can't connect to the internet because I'm not subscribed to a data plan. I know that I'm through my network (Cincinnati Bell) so what gives?
It depends on what sort of company you jailbroke your phone from. If it was a free jailbreak it might have done something to your phone. If not then you should contact the place that you just got your jailbreak from.

Also I would say that if you are using another company like T-Mobile instead of ATT then you will only get EDGE data plans.
You need a data plan.
Guys, she said she has a data plan, but the iphone is telling her she does not! You will have to ask your carrier, if they even do data plans on an iphone and if yes, how to set it up.

The 4G LTE seems to work fine on both of them, but my iPhone can't seem to connect to my home internet (the HTC connected perfectly fine).
